Step 1: Pre-Construction


Soil test from property (determines proper foundation)

Boundary survey (determines size and boundaries of lot)

Site plan (determines exact location where home will sit on property)

Final decisions made on architectural plans

Foundation and frame engineering

Septic design (if applicable)

Building permit

HOA/ACC submittal/approval


Step 2: Construction

Temporary electricity

Lot preparation/clearing

Building pad laid and tested (for compaction in preparation for foundation)

Water: Tap/Well

Forms set for the foundation

Sewer pipes added

Beams, barriers, post tension, and rebar

Final forms


Concrete is poured


Sheeting, siding, walls, windows and exterior doors

Roof decking, shingles

Plumbing pipes (walls and attic), water heater


Electrical wiring

Exterior painting

Exterior brick/stone/stucco/siding

Sheetrock/tape and float


Interior painting

Septic installation (if applicable)

Counter tops and tile

Pour driveway

Install light fixtures and outlets

Flooring (carpet and/or wood)

Final Grade/Code inspection with TRCC elevations
